Carle Offers Will Be Considered

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has admitted he will listen to offers for out-of-favour Australian midfielder Nick Carle with a potential exit for the player during the January transfer window.

Carle, who Palace signed for £1million from Bristol City in July last year, has struggled for opportunities this season putting his World Cup hopes at stake.

The 27-year-old Socceroo has been restricted to brief stints off the bench for the Eagles this term with Warnock preferring other options.

Carle has made just four appearances in the league and one in the Carling Cup so far this season.

Warnock told Sky Sports: "Nick is on the market to sell permanently and we'd only look at loans at the end of January.

"He knows he needs to be playing to get into Australia's World Cup squad and has got to be getting games after Christmas."

At this stage, Palace have revealed no details of any interest in Carle, although he was recently linked with a move to Korean club FC Seoul and there is also thought to be interest from Qatar.
